the hotel provided convenient access to important bus routes. it allowed me to explore the Gothic quarter easily. the breakfast buffet offered an excellent start to each day. the beds felt very comfortable after long days.
my room had some street noise at night as soundproofing was poor.

inadequate soundproofingindifferent staff
The room's temperature control was a joke. It was either freezing or stuffy, and i couldn't find a middle ground. also, the soundproofing was non-existent, and i could hear everything happening in the hallway. it was like trying to sleep in a train station. the staff seemed indifferent when i brought these issues up. They shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. i expected more for the price i paid.

The hotel has a superb location within the Gothic Quarter. I found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful . The breakfast had a fresh, delicious and various selection of items. I also appreciated the option to store luggage after checking out.
The elevator was quite slow. It took a long time for it to arrive and open. The wallpaper in my room seemed a bit old and worn. The water temperature in the shower was difficult to regulate. It mixed cold and warm water.
